Wiregrass Ranch's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Zephyrhills 15-0. Considering the Bulls have won eight games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Reagan Beagle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Beagle was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Wiregrass Ranch got a massive performance out of Kayla Valentin, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave Valentin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoe Troupe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Wiregrass Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, River Ridge posted their closest victory since March 7th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Osceola 2-0.
The result came thanks to Lilly Jackson's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.
On the hitting side, River Ridge's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Olivia James, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Wiregrass Ranch pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for River Ridge, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
River Ridge's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wiregrass Ranch has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. It's a different story for River Ridge, though, as they've only averaged .360. Will they be able to contain Wiregrass Ranch's hitters?
Wiregrass Ranch came out on top in a nail-biter against River Ridge in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 9-7. Will the Bulls repeat their success, or do the Royal Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
