Reece Ledford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 12 hits.

At the plate, Bailie Bare was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Binkley, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Williamsburg lost a heartbreaker to New Richmond when they met back in May of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Lions, falling 10-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this game were averaging three runs allowed.
Delaney Donohoo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Kaylynn Anderkin was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Williamsburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Blanchester, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Blanchester hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like Williamsburg struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
