Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Sacred Heart, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They claimed a resounding 41-14 win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer. The victory continues a trend for the Irish in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won six in a row.

Elmwood-Murdock's record now sits at 4-1. As for Sacred Heart, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Elmwood-Murdock took their victory against Sacred Heart when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 48-22 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
