Etowah is a perfect 8-0 against Hokes Bluff since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Etowah saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springville. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hokes Bluff). Everything went their way against Gadsden City on Monday as they made off with a 20-13 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

Etowah's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Hokes Bluff, their win bumped their record up to 15-16.

Etowah came out on top in a nail-biter against Hokes Bluff when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
