Softball Recap: Corsicana Comes Up Short

Corsicana's tournament run continued when they took on Lamar on Thursday. The Corsicana Tigers fell just short of the Lamar Vikings by a score of 10-8. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corsicana now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Lamar, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Corsicana wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 loss against Palmer on the 28th. As for Lamar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-6 defeat against Dawson on the 27th.
