Baseball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Takes a Loss

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Chicago University Maroons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Maroons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 on Saturday.

Lake Forest Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chicago University, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake Forest Academy will take on rival North Shore Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chicago University is set to face off against their familiar foe Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
