Volleyball Recap: Angola's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Angola waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the East Noble Knights 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-5, 25-17.

Angola can attribute much of their success to Mady Conrad, who had ten digs and two aces.

Conrad wasn't the only good server: Angola was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Angola's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Angola will face off against Fort Wayne Snider at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Noble, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Churubusco on the 23rd.
