Baseball Recap: Mountainside Comes Up Short

Mountainside fell victim to North Valley Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 29-0. The Wolves lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in March of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 2-0 score last time.

Mountainside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasey Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Mountainside is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for North Valley Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12-1.

Mountainside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 18-0 defeat against St. John Paul II Catholic on the 4th. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Wickenburg on the 5th.
