Jared Nelson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He struck out four batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
