Soccer Recap: North Rose-Wolcott Comes Up Short

After flying high against Marion on Friday, North Rose-Wolcott came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Sodus Spartans on Tuesday. If North Rose-Wolcott were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Sodus when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Rose-Wolcott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sodus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, North Rose-Wolcott will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Gananda Central at 6:30 p.m. As for Sodus, they are taking a road trip to challenge Midlakes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
