Volleyball Game Preview: Pecatonica Indians vs. Milledgeville Missiles

Pecatonica is 7-1 against Milledgeville since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will face off against the Missiles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Pecatonica came up short against Durand and fell 2-0. The Indians have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Milledgeville also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Eastland by a score of 2-0.

Milledgeville was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Pecatonica's loss dropped their record down to 17-15-1. As for Milledgeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-6.

Pecatonica beat Milledgeville 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Missiles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
