Basketball Game Preview: Miyamura Patriots vs. Shiprock Chieftains

The Miyamura Patriots will challenge the Shiprock Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Miyamura has three straight wins, Shiprock has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Miyamura beat Shiprock 62-54.

Miyamura can attribute much of their success to Brody Tah, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Jordan Cadman, who went 8-for-13 en route to 20 points along with six assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave Cadman a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Jones, who posted six points.

Shiprock's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Miyamura, their victory bumped their record up to 6-20.
