Recap: Victory Christian Lions vs. Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers
After flying high against the St. Bernard Prep Saints on Monday, the Victory Christian Lions came back down to earth. Victory Christian fell to Talladega County Central 75-70. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Wilson-Hueter, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds. The game was Wilson-Hueter's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Peyton Scott was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Talladega County Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Victory Christian will be playing at home against Ragland at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Talladega County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fayetteville is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
