Baseball Recap: Wisconsin Lutheran Takes a Loss

The Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the Brookfield East Spartans on Saturday and fell 6-5.

Wisconsin Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Brookfield East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wisconsin Lutheran will welcome Pius XI Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Popes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.42 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brookfield East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brookfield Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
