Baseball Recap: Braxton County Comes Up Short

Braxton County lost against Clay County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 10-3 to the Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Mays made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2.

Braxton County's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Clay County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Braxton County will take on rival Ravenswood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clay County is set to face off against their familiar foe Poca at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
