Softball Recap: Elverado Comes Up Short

Elverado has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.93 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Vienna Eagles, falling 12-2. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Elverado's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Vienna, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-13.

Elverado didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Trico on the 6th. As for Vienna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Zeigler-Royalton on the 30th.
