Soccer Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Harding after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ursuline Fighting Irish. Harding just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Garrett Wonders, who's now up to two this season.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ursuline, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Harding has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against West Branch on the 26th. As for Ursuline, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 23rd.
