If Beulah was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Dadeville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 7-1 to the Glenwood Gators on Thursday. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Beulah saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wes Grant, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Beulah's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Glenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4-1 record this season.

While Beulah had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
