Baseball Recap: Skyview Takes a Loss

Skyview's last matchup with Vista PEAK Prep could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Wolverines came up short against the Bison, falling 11-3. The Wolverines have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Christopher Olvera made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

Skyview's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Skyview will take on Aurora Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.94 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. Vista PEAK Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
