Viola waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Calico Rock Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Viola's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Calico Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Viola will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Side at 4:00 p.m. on the 11th.
