Soccer Recap: Potomac Falls Takes a Loss

Potomac Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stone Bridge Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Potomac Falls of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Potomac Falls' record is now 1-8. As for Stone Bridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Potomac Falls will square off against rival Lightridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Stone Bridge is set to take on their familiar foe Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
