Soccer Recap: Alcoa Takes a Loss

Alcoa came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-2 to the William Blount Governors. Alcoa were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as William Blount apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Diego Ojeda wasn't going to let William Blount walk away unscathed as he scored both of Alcoa's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Alcoa now has a losing record of 1-2. As for William Blount, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Alcoa wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Heritage on the 27th. As for William Blount, they will face off against Buckhorn at 3:10 p.m. on Friday.
