While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Mustangs are ranked 132nd).

Wellpinit pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for Mary Walker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything came up roses for Wellpinit against Mary Walker when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 98-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wellpinit since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
