Softball Recap: Heritage Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Heritage never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Norte Vista Braves as Heritage made off with a 10-0 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Delilah Diaz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Aryah Phiakeo, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, one run, and one RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Heritage, bringing their record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Norte Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.

Heritage has already played their next match, a 17-3 defeat against Liberty on the 25th. As for Norte Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-3 win against Entrepreneur on the 27th.
