Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Skates Past Scotland/Menno with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mt. Vernon/Plankinton had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-18 win over the Scotland/Menno Trappers. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, bringing their record for this year to 19-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. As for Scotland/Menno, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
