After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Zion Christian, Kelloggsville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They escaped with a win against the Comstock Park Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 38-20 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Kelloggsville's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 3-15. As for Comstock Park, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kelloggsville will challenge Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kelloggsville is facing Union at the right time seeing as Union is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Comstock Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacred Heart Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
