For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Wayland-Cohocton and Pavilion meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Golden Gophers 9-1. Considering the Eagles have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wayland-Cohocton pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Pavilion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Wayland-Cohocton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Golden Gophers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
