Idea kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Roosevelt Roughriders and fell 81-49. The Timberwolves' loss signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Idea's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chris Hinton, who went 6 for 10from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points, and Sean Baltimore, who posted ten points and three steals. That's the most points Hinton has posted since back in January. Tobias Hammett was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards.

Gabriel Hudgens had a dynamite game for Roosevelt, going 10 of 13 on his way to 30 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Hall, who put up seven points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Idea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-44 win against Obama Academy of International Studies on the 7th. As for Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-78 loss against Imani Christian Academy on the 7th.
