Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Pisgah's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Pisgah's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the North Henderson Knights with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Sadie Messer looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rylee Campbell was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Foust, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Pisgah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Henderson only posted an OBP of .292.

Pisgah is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for North Henderson, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

As of now, neither Pisgah nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
