The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Saturday Brookside Christian takes on Stone Ridge Christian in the first playoff game of the year. Brookside Christian has been tearing up the endzone with big points in its last six contests.

Brookside Christian picked up a decisive 'W' against Woodland Christian last week, finishing up at 62 - 6. Senior wide receiver Justin Williams provided the team with an impressive 155 receiving yards in the victory. Williams has been a consistent playmaker for Brookside Christian as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian put the hurt on Delta last week with a conclusive 47 - 0 victory. With three TDs, senior Jonathan Collazo was a significant factor in the success. Collazo has now scored at least one TD in the past seven consecutive games.

Their wins bumped Stone Ridge Christian to 9-2 and Brookside Christian to 7-4. Brookside Christian and Stone Ridge Christian both have plenty of landslide victories under their belts (Brookside Christian with six and Stone Ridge Christian with five), but only one can come away triumphant this week. We'll find out who that is soon.
