Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Knights vs. Anderson Raptors

The Northwest Knights will face off against the Anderson Raptors at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Anderson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Northwest, who comes in off a win.

Anderson better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Northwest really get things going. Northwest ended the year with a bang, routing Mariemont 66-43 on Saturday. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Meanwhile, Anderson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 56-52 to West Clermont.

Northwest will have to contain Trace Jallick as he made an impact in Anderson's last game. He went 9 for 13 on his way to 21 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Jallick a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Kuhn, who posted six points.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
