Vandegrift had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the McNeil Mavericks 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Vandegrift was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-15.

Siri Krishna was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had nine aces and eight digs. Those eight digs gave her a new career-high.

Vandegrift now has a winning record of 19-18. As for McNeil, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-31.
