Cloudland dropped down to 20-8 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Unaka Rangers by a score of 70-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Highlanders still had to take the loss.

As for Unaka, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games.

It was another big night for Michelle Shields, who went 9-for-20 en route to 31 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The contest was her seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kalli Shepard, who posted nine points.

Cloudland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Unaka has already played their next matchup (against North Greene), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
