Basketball Game Preview: Diagonal Maroons vs. Griswold Tigers

The Diagonal Maroons will challenge the Griswold Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Monday, Diagonal lost to Melcher-Dallas on the road by a 60-42 margin. The Maroons have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Griswold). They breezed by Hamburg to the tune of 60-11 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Diagonal's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Griswold, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
