 The Sage Creek Bobcats will head out on the road to  square off against  the Fallbrook Warriors at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sage Creek's pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Fallbrook's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 Sage Creek took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fallbrook  and snuck past  3-1.
  Porter Rovin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on one hit and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Joey Hayes was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zac Petersen, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Sage Creek's victory bumped their record up to 14-10-1. As for Fallbrook, they dropped their record down to 7-18 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
