Volleyball Recap: Portland Comes Up Short

Portland was the 2-0 winner over Creek Wood when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Hawks on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Portland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Creek Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portland will welcome Franklin-Simpson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Creek Wood, they will take on Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
