Baseball Recap: Bogan Comes Up Short

Bogan blew Kelly out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Kelly got their revenge. The Bengals fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 6-4. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bogan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Patterson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Patterson has become a key player for the Bengals: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-5 otherwise.

Bogan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Kelly, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Bogan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Dunbar on the 2nd. Hopefully Kelly paid attention to the Bengals' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bengals at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
