Baseball Recap: Knightdale Takes a Loss

Knightdale lost against Wakefield on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 6-3 to the Wolverines. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Knightdale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maximo Jimenez, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Knightdale's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Wakefield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3-1 record this season.

Knightdale will host Smithfield-Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
