Soccer Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bridgeport's offense. They lost 4-0 to the Hillcrest Panthers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Panthers are ranked 96th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bridgeport and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Hillcrest, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Life Oak Cliff the next time they take the pitch. Hillcrest will head out to face Life Oak Cliff at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Bridgeport will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
