There's no place like home for Riverside Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over the Northport Mustangs on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since January 5, 2024.

Riverside Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Rivera led the charge by on his way to 20 points. Rivera is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last four games he's played. Micah Morgan was another key player, en route to 20 points.

Riverside Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for Northport, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

Riverside Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 78-71 victory against Inchelium on the 25th. Northport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
