Abby Edwards spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Snohomish saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelie Lopez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Marysville Getchell now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Snohomish, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Marysville Getchell couldn't quite get it done against Snohomish in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can Marysville Getchell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
