St. James posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They breezed by the Carolina Forest Panthers to the tune of 70-43. The win was all the more spectacular given the Sharks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Panthers are ranked 20th).

Carolina Forest lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaiden Knowlin, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javion Barrett, who had six points.

St. James' victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Carolina Forest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-3 record this season.

St. James will take on Conway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Conway will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. James surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carolina Forest, they will challenge North Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.2 points per game this season.
