Bryan barely beat Benson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Bryan blew past Benson 8-1 on Monday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Bryan's offense was hitting Benson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Antonio Gama Romo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Bryan and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Benson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bryan is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln High at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Benson will take on rival Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
