Basketball Recap: First State Military Academy Comes Up Short

First State Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. The match between them and the Newark Charter School Patriots didn't end well, with the First State Military Academy Bulldogs falling 60-43. The Bulldogs lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-18 score last time.

First State Military Academy's record is now 0-15. As for Newark Charter School, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First State Military Academy will head out to face off against MOT Charter at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newark Charter School, they will square off against Wilmington Charter at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
