Basketball Recap: Brocton Takes a Loss

Brocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Silver Creek Black Knights, falling 53-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-12 back in December of 2024.

Brocton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Silver Creek, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brocton will challenge Clymer Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Creek, they will head out on the road to take on Dunkirk at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Creek is facing Dunkirk at the right time seeing as Dunkirk is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
