Volleyball Recap: Bloomer Find Success

After losing to Clear Lake the last time they met, Bloomer decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blackhawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blackhawks.

Kaycee Schmidt was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Bloomer's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Clear Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Bloomer will face off against Fall Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blackhawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Clear Lake, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against St. Croix Central on the 13th.
