Basketball Recap: McCook Central/Montrose Comes Up Short

McCook Central/Montrose lost against Flandreau back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars fell 52-42 to the Flandreau Fliers. The Fighting Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McCook Central/Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Flandreau, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCook Central/Montrose will square off against Baltic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flandreau, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
