Volleyball Game Preview: Lecanto Panthers vs. Belleview Rattlers

The Lecanto Panthers will face off against the Belleview Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lecanto will be strutting in after a victory while Belleview will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Lecanto made easy work of Nature Coast Tech and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Lecanto never let Nature Coast Tech on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Belleview came up short against Vanguard on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Belleview had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 17-25, 25-18.

Belleview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lecanto, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Lecanto took their win against Belleview when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rattlers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
