Carrollton and Grayson (ranked ninth and seventh in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile matchup on Wednesday. The Carrollton Trojans received a blow as they fell 38-24 to the Grayson Rams. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Carrollton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zion Cooley, who picked up 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those two receiving touchdowns gave Cooley a new career-high. Carrollton also got help from Aj Mcneil, who showed off his sure hands for 80 receiving yards.

Elijah Miller went supernova for Grayson, rushing for 120 yards and three touchdowns. Travis Burgess was another key player, throwing for 180 yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carrollton fell to 14-1. As for Grayson, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

As of now, neither Carrollton nor Grayson have any future games scheduled.
