Salinas lost against Leland back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Salinas Cowboys took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leland Chargers. The Cowboys' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Leland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Salinas will face off against Hollister at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Hollister their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Leland, they will challenge Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will also be Leland's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
